HMI5708 is the intelligent motherboard for Human-Machine-Interface based on TI AM5708. It is versatile for various Human-Machine interaction applications such as intelligent AI interaction system, home appliances control system, public security system, face recognition system and intelligent robot.
HMI5708 is the all-in-one single board featuring highly-integrated framework. It enables you to use flexible size of RAM and FLASH Memory based on different applications, thus supporting 512MB~2GB DDR3 and 4GB~16GB eMMC. Integrated ARM Cortex-A15 processor, a verity of peripheral control and high-end UI are implemented with HMI5708.By making full use of C66x DSP on-chip, HMI5708 is also able to implement algorithms such as AI algorithms, audio and video processing.
On-board WIFI&BT module and external PIR offer you an excellent Human-Machine interaction experience, meanwhile, HMI5708 integrates SPI FLASH for important data and parameters saving.
In addition to those functions above, HMI5708 has offered a rich set of peripherals resources such as MIPI-LCD display interface, multi-point touch panel interface, multi-channel McASP audio interface, USB OTG, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, LED interface and speaker.
HMI5708 supports Linux 4.9.28 OS and DSP RTOS. For real-time data processing, RT-Linux system is also ready to run.
EMA offers complete SDK including the demo of multicore communication between ARM and DSP, which let you to take advantage of EMA products to shorten time-to-market, reduce development costs, and avoid substantial design issues and risks.
